Skål International London September'23 dinner
After a 2-month summer hiatus, Skål International London members and guests enjoyed and evening of warm hospitality and wonderful cuisine at our dinner on September 12.
The Idlewyld mansion was built in 1878 as a private home for Charles Smith Hyamn - a successful business man, Mayor of London, Federal Cabinet Minister under Prime Minister Wilfred Laurier.
It was sold in 1985 and reopened as a luxurious inn. Skål International member and Inn Manager Effie Gurman and her team, offer its guests unforgettable hospitality and dining in a historic setting at the Idlewyld Inn & Spa, located in London, ON, Canada.
As an extra treat, our guest speaker, Marc Forrat, Forrat’s Chocolates, entertained our members and guests with great stories and delicious home-made artisan chocolates. Marc is the original owner and Chocolatier who came to Canada from France with the dream to spread his love of chocolate across Canada.
