Skål International Goa Board Meeting – Wednesday 10 November 21
Skål International Goa held its regular monthly Board Meeting on Wednesday, 10 November 2021 at Acacia Palms, Colva, kindly hosted by board member and International Councillor Mario Sequeira.
The Meeting was well attended, and the Board deliberated at length on the following vital matters:
Increasing membership of both Skål International and Young Skål Members. Young Skål Activities.
Collection and completing the receipts of annual dues from the members by 15 January 2022.
The Skål International Goa Annual Christmas get-together on Sunday 12 December 2021 at Bobby’s Grill, the new happening place at Anjuna.
Blood Donation Camp – Wednesday 17 November 2021
Skål International Goa Club conducted a Blood Donation Camp with Keys Select Ronil Beach Resort, Goa Medical College, and Rotary Club Margao Midtown. The camp held in Keys Select Ronil Beach Resort, Baga, turned out to be a thumping success with good participation by Resort Staff and Skål International Goa members. The Blood Donation Camp by Skål International Goa Vice President Shekhar Divadkar and the Skål International Goa Board.
Skål International Goa General Body Meeting – Wednesday 17 November 2021
Skål International Goa held the monthly General Body Meeting on Wednesday, 17 November 2021, at The Crown in Panaji, Goa. Skålleague Rajesh Dempo hosted the function. The venue offered a picturesque view of the river Mandovi with the beautifully lit Atal Sethu Bridge. The General Body was well attended with a participation figure of 63, and a very interactive discussion about plans for membership drive, Skål International Goa activities, Young Skål, and the Skål International Goa Annual Christmas celebration, where the renowned entertainer Carlton Braganza would be flying in from Bangalore to add to the festive cheer. Blue and White were announced as the dress code for the event. Kingfisher would be the title sponsor for the event along with Liquid Gold. Food hampers would also be offered in the festive period to Old Aged Homes & Orphanages.
