Dear Skålleagues,

As we step into 2025, I would like to take a moment to wish each of you a very Happy New Year! With each new year comes another opportunity to grow and thrive together. Let's embrace the possibilities that lie ahead and make this year our best yet!

I'm excited to share that the notice of Annual General Meeting has been sent out, and we can't wait to welcome delegates to Broome in just 7 weeks time. If you haven't registered yet, now is the time to do so. Our Broome members are busily putting together the final preparations for what will be a fantastic weekend. We do hope that you will consider joining us in Broome for our AGM & National Assembly which promises to be a productive fun filled weekend of networking, collaboration and celebrations!

A special shout-out to Denise Scrafton, our new World President! Denise is already at Skål International headquarters in Spain for her first meeting of the year with the new International Executive Board and General Secretariat, and we wish her all the success in her new role as World President. We know Denise's leadership will bring great things for our organisation and I certainly look forward to seeing Denise and her Executive Board thrive in 2025.

As we embark on the new year, your insights and feedback are crucial to the success of Skål Australia, and we aim to ensure that you are fully benefiting from your membership. Have you explored all the resources and opportunities at your disposal? Are you maximising your membership potential? Now is an excellent opportunity to contemplate on how we can improve your membership experience. By exchanging ideas and information, we can cultivate an an environment of growth and innovation.
