Greetings fellow Skålleagues!

ATE hit Melbourne last month, bringing a lively crowd of Skålleagues to the city for an action-packed week of work AND networking. Following registrations on the Sunday, our first official #SkalMeets catch-up was a fabulous gathering, highlighting the camaraderie within our community. A big thank you to Melbourne Club President Rich Kellaway for hosting, and to the dedicated members locally, as well as from Perth, Adelaide, and Southern Gold Coast, for joining in.

In exciting news, registrations are opening shortly for our upcoming National Assembly. Cairns Club President Paul Egan, and his committee, are busy crafting an unforgettable weekend for us all. Be sure to mark your calendars - September 6 - 8 - and keep an eye out for all the details coming soon. Our HQ Hotel is the stunning Pullman Cairns International, and our welcome reception will take place at Rainforestation, offering a unique, enchanting, and very Aussie start to the festivities. Rumours are already circulating about the Gala Dinner (coinciding with Cairn's 40th Birthday), with whispers of it being the party to end all parties. We think Paul may have started this rumour himself, but we trust he's going to deliver!

Looking ahead, with Broome confirmed as our destination for the 2025 AGM & National Assembly next March, we are currently seeking expressions of interest from all Clubs for September. Please be sure to read through the Assembly Guidelines (emailed through to all Club delegates by President Ash last week) and submit your interest to Secretary Sandy before 31 July.

We'd love to see all Clubs take the opportunity to host. Running an Assembly is a brilliant experience! It does take a lot of hard work and dedication, but the rewards are immense - showing off your amazing Club and City, bonding further with your own Club members and Committee, and helping to expose Skål to a greater audience, increasing all our networking opportunities and growing our brand!
